Press & Media Submission Agreement

This Submission Agreement applies to any music, images, videos, press releases, or other content (“Materials”) submitted to Riff Street (riffstreet.co.uk) by artists, record labels, PR agencies, or representatives (“Submitter”).

By submitting Materials to Riff Street, you agree to the following terms:

1. Rights & Permissions

You confirm that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights, licences, and permissions to submit the Materials
  • The Materials do not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other third-party rights
  • You have authority to grant us permission to use the Materials

2. Licence to Use Content

By submitting Materials, you grant Riff Street a:

  • Non-exclusive
  • Worldwide
  • Royalty-free

licence to:

  • Use, reproduce, publish, and display the Materials
  • Edit or adapt the Materials for editorial purposes
  • Use the Materials across our website and social media channels

3. No Obligation to Publish

Submission of Materials does not guarantee:

  • Coverage
  • Publication
  • Review

All editorial decisions are made at our sole discretion.

4. No Payment

Unless agreed in writing, submissions are provided on a voluntary basis and:

  • No payment or compensation will be made for use of Materials

5. Editorial Control

We reserve the right to:

  • Edit, shorten, or modify submitted Materials
  • Decide how content is presented
  • Decline or remove content at any time

6. Promotional Use

Materials may be used in connection with:

  • Reviews
  • Editorial features
  • Social media promotion
  • Website marketing

7. Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Riff Street and its operators from any claims, damages, or legal issues arising from:

  • Breach of rights
  • Unauthorised use of Materials
  • Inaccurate or misleading submissions

8. Removal Requests

We may, at our discretion, remove submitted Materials upon reasonable request. However, we are not obligated to do so.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
